Round Mountain in Good Company

Today's Round Mountain run attracted a whole crew of hardy runners eager to do LOTS of climbing! I love this trail but always seem to run into bears when I come here by myself, so I was happy for the company. Laughter makes the miles (and the elevation gains) go by so much easier!

The angle wasn't actually THAT extreme at the trailhead; we were just using a friendly car to place the camera to use the timer feature, and this is how it came out.

The lower part of the trail is pretty densely forested, so we relish the open spots with views.

The rock formations along this trail are so much fun.

Almost to the top!
